No Cael Yet

The midwives pushed his due date back to today, January 22, but he has not shown up yet. We have been to the acupuncturist, massage therapist, midwives, I have taken evening primrose oil, drank raspberry leaf tea, walked, galloped, bounced on the birthing ball and still there is no baby Cael. I had the membrane strip today and will continue to get acupuncture and receive an induction massage Thursday. After that, Monday we will re-sweep the membrane and next Friday the midwives will begin natural induction methods. I suppose he will get here when he gets here. Shawn is encouraging me to be patient and accepting instead of rushing and asking "when will he be here!!" all moments of the day. Thank you all for all of your support, I wish we had a picture for you but we just have our imaginations at this point.

Thank you everyone. The nursery is finally finished and there was no way we could have done it without the support from our family. We miss everyone and are excited to share in the holidays with you next year. We hope everyone has a merry Christmas and we will be thinking of you all. The Sonogram tech was nice enough to give us a few 3-D images of his face as well as the normal sonogram photos. Here's the face shots. He's 2lb 11oz right now and has a super strong heart and great brain development. He is currently 3 days ahead of schedule. Maybe he'll be early!!

David came up and toured the Colorado mountains on a Harley. He stopped at Dillon Dam Brewery and picked this up for future baby Ryan.

20 Week Sonogram Baby Pictures

We got to see much more this round than we did before. Pretty much healthy. I ate a bunch of M&Ms before the sonogram so we had a bouncy baby.  We get to receive another sonogram in 6 weeks just so they can re-check a couple things. Normally we wouldn't get to see baby again until after birth so this is a great opportunity. Kicking alot! Shawn can even feel it pretty well. It's been a common theme in all of the photo shoots for baby x to grab their head and flex. Related to Aaron much?
